The first time the word “altar” was mentioned in the bible is found in Genesis 8:20 KJV “And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.”

Where did Noah learn the raising of the altar to make a burnt sacrifice from? He learnt it from the Nephilim. The Holy Bible never recorded it that God instructed him to make an altar unto Him as He (God) specifically instructed Moses.

Who were the Nephilim in the Bible?

The Nephilim (/ˈnɛfɪˌlɪm/; Hebrew: נְפִילִים Nəfīlīm) are mysterious (strange) beings or people in the Hebrew Bible who are large, huge and strong. The word Nephilim is loosely translated as giants in some translations of the Hebrew Bible,  in short, they were a biblical race of giants or demigods –  the Nephilim were on the earth in those days — Genesis 6:4 (Revised Standard Version).

To call Noah’s altar a Godly altar is a fabrication of twisting and manipulating of the scripture because it is never from God. Remember that God will always start with you where He meets you – He (God) always begins with you from what you know; just like the raising of altars by Abraham still found in the book of Genesis because Abraham came out from the family of idol worshippers. God started with Noah and Abraham on the issue of raising an altar from what they knew and where He (God) met them because the times of ignorance God always overlooks: Acts 17:30  KJV “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.”

The Godly altar is a meeting point between God and man (a Christian believer) –  between the Spirit (the Holy Spirit) and man (a Christian believer). Altar is the gateway to the spirit realm from the physical realm. A Godly altar is a place of establishing covenanted relationship between God and a true Christian. A Godly altar is a platform or medium of relationship between God and man.

In the Old Testament, sacrifice was to be offered on an altar. With Cain, Abel and Job, no altar is mentioned, but Noah, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are all mentioned in connection with altars. The Holy Bible does not tell us in those scriptures relating to Noah, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob just how God expected them to build an altar, but when we get to the life of Moses, God lays it out very clearly – Exodus 20:24-26 KJV  “An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee. And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn (dressed) stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted (defiled) it…Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon.”

As mentioned earlier, sacrifice was to be offered on an altar. With Cain, Abel and Job, no altar is mentioned, but Noah, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are all mentioned. The word altar is first used in Genesis 8:20 when Noah built an altar. All the Godly altars built or raised in Old Testament were a foreshadowing of Jesus Christ, the substance of the New Testament. Remember that the Old Testament, the shadow is pointing to our Lord Jesus Christ of the New Testament, the substance.

In the Old Testament, the tabernacle was a foreshadowing of the presence of God that you and I get to walk in and experience every single day. This presence of God in this dispensation is the indwelling presence and infilling power of the Holy Spirit in Christian believer’s life. Hallelujah! This is the great product of the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary.

Since we are Christians, no doubt, we have experienced the altar of burnt offering, typifying the cross, and the laver, typifying the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus Christ –  1 John 1:7 KJV  “…. the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”

The burnt sacrifice/offering always required and involved fire typifying the Holy Spirit, in the outer court –  Acts 2:3-4 KJV  “And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

The tabernacle is divided into exterior and interior parts. The exterior part is an outer court where the burnt sacrifice is carried out and the presence of laver for washing and cleansing in order to gain access into the Holy Place.

The interior part is divided into two rooms, namely: (1) The Holy Place (inner court) and (2) The Most Holy Place (The Holy of Holies). The Holy Place has an altar of incense and a table of showbread.

Some of us may have already entered into the Holy Place. We are enjoying Christ here as the showbread, the life supply; as the lamp stand, the light of life; and as the incense, the acceptance by God in Christ’s resurrection. Now we have more experience of Christ.  Remember that the Lord Jesus Christ is the light of the world – and He (Jesus Christ) made us also the light of the world – all these take place at The Holy Place (inner court) – John 8:12 KJV and  Matthew 5:14 KJV “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life….Ye (the genuinely born again Christians) are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.”

However, this Holy Place is not the best. That is, outer court is good, The Holy Place is better but The Holy of Holies is the best. The outer court represents or symbolizes our body, The Holy Place our soul and The Holy of Holies our spirit – 1 Thessalonians 5:23 KJV  “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

It is the best and the ultimate for every true Christian to enter The Holy of Holies because:

(1) God is looking for who will worship Him in Spirit and in truth – John 4:23-24 KJV “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”

(2) The Lord Jesus Christ has made every genuinely born again Christian king and priest to offer Him sacrifice daily – Revelation 1:6 KJV and Revelation 5:10 KJV “And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen……And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.”

We are encouraged to enter into the holiest of all, the Holy of Holies, to enjoy Christ Himself. We need to press on to enjoy not only Christ as life, as light, and as the acceptance to God, but also Christ Himself as the ark in the Holy of Holies.

Every true Christian is a priest and the living altar to offer a living sacrifice daily to God – Romans 12:1 KJV  “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”

The Lord Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of all the Godly altars in the Bible. This living altar (the Lord Jesus Christ) performs two specific spiritual duties (1) special activity and (2) regular activity in the spirit realm in Heaven with the Father which He (Jesus Christ) has handled to us and made us to be in performing the duties to the Father (God).

The special activity is the burnt sacrifice which is the Cross of Calvary and we are to carry this cross as the living sacrifice to follow Him everyday –  Luke 9:23 KJV “And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.”

To denying ourselves in following the Lord Jesus Christ daily in living righteous and holy is a sacrifice; doing and practicing all the dictates, teaching and life of Christ daily is a sacrifice. Remember that Jesus Christ is already our sacrifice at the altar of the cross –  1 Corinthians 5:7 and Ephesians 5:2 KJV  “Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us…..And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself (Jesus Christ) for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour.”

Apostle Paul said we are unto God a sweet  savour of Christ  for everybody – and this is the altar of sacrifice to God – 2 Corinthians 2:15 KJV “For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish.”

The regular activity is the altar of incense which means the prayers of the saints as sweet smelling savour unto God in Heaven – Revelation 8:3-4  KJV “And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand.”

Regular activity which is the altar of incense symbolizing prayer of the saint is a regular exercise of every Christian without ceasing unto God because when you are praying, you are talking to God but when you are reading and studying the Bible, God is talking to you .  God wants us His children to be talking to Him all the time (prayer) – 1 Thessalonians 5:17  KJV “Pray without ceasing.” We are the altar of incense before the throne of God in Heaven. Don’t forget that praise is part of prayer, even thanksgiving as well – as long as you are talking to Him. It can even be in thought of your soul and heart – Psalms 19:14 KJV “:Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer”

Remember that the Lord Jesus Christ is still performing this regular activity without ceasing in Heaven as our intercessor at the right hand of God – Hebrews 7:25  KJV “Wherefore he (Jesus Christ) is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.”

Do not forget that the priests in the Old Testament were to burn incense at the altar of incense to make prayer for the people to God but now all the genuinely born again Christians are the priests in the New Testament because of what the Lord Jesus Christ did for us on the Cross of Calvary. The Lord Jesus Christ is our High Priest and we are the royal priesthood now on earth through Him –  Hebrews 3:1 KJV and  1 Peter 2:9  KJV “Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus…. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.”

As a genuinely born again Christian, you don’t need any deliverance from an evil altar; you don’t need to raise any altar against any evil altar; you don’t need to break any evil altar against you and your family; you don’t need to silence any evil altar because you are the altar of God on earth – the altar of God humbles all other ungodly (evil) altars on earth!

It is a scam for any pastor to tell you that you need to undergo any form of deliverance to raise, break and silence any evil altar against everything concerning your life or family because you are the altar of God on earth. He (the Holy Spirit) in you is greater than he (Satan) in the world –  and your life is hidden in Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit and God the Father – 1 John 4:4 KJV, John 14:23  KJV and Colossians 3:3 KJV “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world…. Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him….and your life is hid with Christ in God.”

Therefore, as you are the altar of God through the Lord Jesus Christ on earth, there is no evil power that can overcome and overpower you as long as you living in righteousness and holiness because there is no enchantment against you neither is there any divination against your Christian life  – Numbers 23:20-21, 23 KJV  “Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the LORD his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them…Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!”

All those deliverances from evil altars; all the religious activities to raise an altar, break an evil altar and silence any form of evil altar is a scam to make money from the gullible, naive and easily deceived (fooled) Christians by the pastors of deliverance of all manners of the evil altar.

Why you don’t need any deliverance from any form of evil altar apart from the above reasons? The primary  reason is that the death of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary is the fulfillment of the altars! Jesus on the Cross said it is finished – John 19:30 KJV “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.” And after His resurrection, all powers on earth and heaven had been given to Him (the Lord Jesus Christ) – Matthew 28:18 KJV “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.”

Altar represents power – and the Lord Jesus Christ is the head over principalities and powers – Colossians 2:10 KJV “And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:”

You as the altar of God on earth through the blood of Jesus Christ has humbled, overpowered and overcome all the ungodly altars –  Revelation 12:11  KJV “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

Never you forget that you are the temple (tabernacle) of God carrying the presence of God by the Holy Spirit, therefore if anyone tries to destroy you, such a person God will surely destroy –  1 Corinthians 3:16-17 KJV  “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.”

Do you know that Satan is under your feet – Romans 16:20 KJV “And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.”

Do you know that you are sitting together with the Lord Jesus Christ in Heavenly places as a genuinely born again Christian – Ephesians 2:6 KJV “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:”

Do you know that as a true child of God, you have been redeemed from every curse – Galatians 3:13 KJV “Christ hath redeemed us (the genuinely born again Christians) from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree.”

Understand that no arrow (weapon) formed or fashioned against you from the evil altar shall prosper: Isaiah 54:17 KJV “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue [that] shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.”

Do you know that there is no condemnation at all for those who are in Christ Jesus – Romans 8:1  KJV “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

Do you know that there is nobody who can harm you with any form of evil from the evil altars as long as you are in Christ Jesus – 1 Peter 3:13 KJV “And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?”

Do you know that you have been blessed with all the spiritual blessings – and therefore the evil altars can never reverse it at all! – Ephesians 1:3  KJV “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.”

Once again, all the deliverance from evil altars; all the religious activities to raise an altar, break an evil altar and silence any form of evil altar is a scam to make money from the gullible, naive and easily deceived (fooled) Christians by the pastors of deliverance of all manners of the evil altar. The great challenge or problem with the gullible, naive and easily deceived (fooled) Christians by the pastors of deliverance of all manners of the evil altar is ignorance (lack of knowledge) of the word of God and lack of understanding of the finished works of our lord Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary in the New Testament – Hosea 4:6 KJV “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” And they accommodate lack of wisdom of the truth of the word of God that will surely make them free from the pastors of deliverance of all manners of the evil altar – John 8:32 KJV “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

Let me use this analogy for your understanding in order to appreciate what the Lord Jesus Christ did for us at the Cross of Calvary. If you want to get and remove palm kernel nut from its shell, you must have to remove the skin, the shell of the date palm fruit before you get the nut out of the palm kernel or better still, to remove the water inside the coconut, you must have to remove the skin and the shell of the coconut. In this analogy, you are the nut of the palm kernel of the date palm fruit and water inside the coconut, while God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ) and God the Holy Spirit represent the skin and shell of both the date palm fruit and coconut.

These skin and shell are a shield (defense, protection and preservation). Therefore, for any evil from any  evil altar to reach you, kill you and destroy you, it must have to reach first both the skin and the shell of the date palm fruit and coconut respectively – it must have to reach, kill and destroy first God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ) and God the Holy Spirit but this impossible! Know and understand this: as no evil power can kill and destroy God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ) and God the Holy Spirit, and your life is hidden in them, for that reason no evil from the evil altars can reach, kill and destroy you . Praise the Lord! Hallelujah!! Amen!!!
