Know why most pastors in Nigeria/Africa are “gods of men” and not “men of God”? – Acts 17:11 KJV, John 5:39 KJV and 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV
Acts 17:11 KJV “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”
John 5:39 KJV “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me (Jesus Christ).”
2 Timothy 2:15 KJV “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
Ignorance would continue to enslave until knowledge is acquired. Unfortunately many don’t study the bible, but only listen to their pastors. And some who tries to open their bible read their pastors words into it, instead of what is written in the bible. They don’t open their mind to the Holy Spirit for correct interpretation and right application of the word.
Note: These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
The fundamental reason why most pastors in Nigeria/Africa are “gods of men” and not “men of God” is because of the result of powerful and strong active brainwashing going on in the church.
Nigerian/African Christians don’t use their brains and minds in the church; they suspend their mind and brain to believe in all what their pastors say without reasoning it out with the Scriptures unlike Berean Christians in Acts 17:11.
So these pastors become gods of men to their church members – and never the men of God to the real Christians as in the kingdom of God. They are practicing church Christianity – and never kingdom Christianity.
Church Christianity will never allow you to scripturally use your brain and mind in the light of the word of God but kingdom Christianity allows your brain and mind to be actively and scripturally used in the light of the word of God.
Nigerian Christians listen to their pastors only instead of reading and studying the word of God – and listening to the Holy Spirit (the best teacher) for the interpretation, explanation and revelation knowledge of the word for their understanding. Nigerian Christians believe in their pastors more than in the gospel of the kingdom of God by the word.
The only way out is for you to be like the Berean Christians that you have to verify every word you hear from your pastor in the Bible: Acts 17:11 “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”
When your pastor, bishop, G O or daddy tells you something, a true disciple will check it up in the Bible with the help of the Holy Spirit. If you study your Bible very well for understanding through the help of the Holy Spirit, you will discover the church brainwashing as a powerful and potent tool of unbiblical teachings for the church members.
The greatest brainwashing in the church is when the pastors are saying that the secret of prosperity is giving in terms of financial and material gifts (sowing of money seed/seed faith).
Look at China, there are many millionaires who are not Christians. God is benevolent to the extent of blessing anyone who is diligent and hard working.
God gave the earth to the children of men (note that the Bible did not mention Christians but the children of men) and blessed them with a brain (intelligence) and a mind (thinking faculty to create) inside their souls by their hearts – the sense of the mind is found inside the soul of any man: Psalms 115:16 and Ecclesiastes 3:11 “The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s; But the earth He has given to the children of men………….Also He has put eternity in their hearts………”
God will not come to do what man can do for you or what you can do for yourself. The brains have been brainwashed by the prosperity gospel preachers in Christianity in Nigeria for a long time.
The prosperity pastors by brainwashing do always over emphasize that the secret of prosperity is giving. Where is hard work in this equation?
No wonder, our country, Nigeria remains what it is today because the goal of an avrage Nigerian is to become a billionaire overnight. Becoming a billionaire is by all means in Nigeria because of the brainwashing going in Nigerian prosperity gospel churches.
The Bible says that we should not mind high things, but that we should condescend to men of low estates. This is not the case anymore. Prosperity preaching is destroying our great nation, Nigeria church is breeding greed and immoral practices.
The high level of prosperity preaching is being used to make hard workers to have a rethink whether it pays to work hard or join the smart people who say they work smart but do not believe in working hard and in dignity of labour. This explains why we have so many Yahoo boys (internet fraudsters) who have turned to pastors as churches are too many.
The high level of brainwashing has made the church in Nigeria to lose focus. People who steal from government give fat tithes and offerings with the various forms of cash donations in the church without investigating the source of the tithes and offerings – without finding out the source of their various forms of cash donations.
The tool of brainwashing used by the pastors has made them (the pastors) to encourage Nigerian citizens who in positions of authority to steal the public fund and thereby bringing part of the looting and stealing of the public fund in terms of cash donations, the tithes and offerings, etc to the church – the public fund that is supposed to be spent for the welfare/betterment of the poor is the spoil that is in the houses of these corrupt people who steal from government and those pastors who collected the stolen money from them as tithes and offerings – and all of you will not escape the judgment of God : Isaiah 3:14 “The Lord will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses”
All these make most pastors in Nigeria/Africa are “gods of men” and not “men of God”.
